The average price for gas across Indiana on Thursday was $4.27 per gallon, according to Patrick DeHaan at GasBuddy.com.

And yes, that is a new record high price for The Hoosier State.

It is also an increase of 27 cents from where the price was on Monday.

The cheapest gas in the state is in Elnora where it is $3.39. South Bend’s average price is $4.37 a gallon. In Elkhart, the average is $4.57 due to one station selling regular unleaded for just under $5.

Thanks for the memories, Brandon! Memories? Mean tweets and $2.50/gallon gas. I’ll take mean tweets over oatmeal brain any day.
