St. Joseph County establishes online reporting for Code Enforcement program

St. Joseph County has established a Code Enforcement program.

Enforcement begins on Friday, April 1, for Abandoned Vehicles, Public Nuisances, which includes things like litter, noise, garbage or trash, graffiti and more, and weed and rank vegetation.

County leaders say if you’d like to report a property you believe might be in violation of any of our code enforcement ordinances, to fill out a form that is on the county’s website.

The codes were based off of input at four public meetings and more than 60 comments residents left on the website.
