Two killed in crash on County Road 17 in Goshen identified

UPDATE: Goshen Police have identified the two people who were killed in a crash earlier this week.

Monday afternoon, officers were called to the intersection of County Road 17 and Rieth Boulevard.

A semi-tractor trailer and a sedan had collided, and the sedan was pushed into a pair of SUVs that were stopped at the traffic light.

Despite life-saving efforts, 72 year-old Lois Fair and 44 year-old Dawn Covey of Bristol died at the scene.

Officials believe they has been making a left turn onto Rieth when their vehicle was struck.

The investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY: Two people died in a crash on County Road 17 in Goshen. Police were called around 1:20 p.m. on Monday, April 25, to the area of County Road 17 and Rieth Boulevard on the report of a multiple vehicle collision with two people who were injured.

On arrival, officers were notified that a driver and passenger of one of the vehicles had died from their injuries.

There was no further information about how the collision occurred.
