The Mayor of Michigan City is working to remove four commissioners with the Michigan City Housing Authority.

Mayor Duane Parry filed charges for the removal of Willie M. Lee, Milton H. Malone, Doretha Sanders-Malone and Carla Mock.

The charges allege the Michigan City Housing Authority has a history of failures in recent years.

Among those include accusations that the commissioners violated Indiana’s open door law and failed to address critical management issues.
