Girls on the Run Michiana will be hosting two 5ks in the month of May.

Girls on the Run is an activity-based youth development program for girls in grades 3rd to 8th in Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, Marshall, and Saint Joseph Counties.

The 5K courses have scenic routes, with trees and residential neighborhoods.

The races will finish with food, music, and photo opportunities and it is all open to the public.

Registration is open online and costs $25 for people 13 and up and $15 for those 12 and under. You can go here for registration information, girlsontherunmichiana.org/Our-5Ks.

The 5k events will take place in Elkhart on May 14th at Trinity United Methodist Church and in South Bend and on May 21, at Potawatomi Park.
