Concord Mall’s previous owners free to seek a new buyer

The previous owners of the Concord Mall have been given permission to look for a new buyer.

This comes after a judge in South Bend has dismissed the bankruptcy filed by the Chicago company that bought the property in 2020.

WSBT reports that Ton Real Estate Investments could have retained control of the property if the judge had granted the bankruptcy request.

The Concord Mall has faced a number of challenges in recent years, with more and more empty storefronts, and even power outages since Ton took over due to unpaid utility bills. Bradley Company will manage the mall until the previous owner finds a new buyer.
