Reactions were pouring in Wednesday morning after the leak of a draft opinion by the US Supreme Court.

The Indiana Democratic Party released a statement saying only 17% of Hoosiers support criminalizing abortion in all forms including rape, incest or life of the mother. They said if the opinion is true, the Indiana Republican Party will vote to do just that at the statehouse this summer, and that their extreme partisanship will cost lives.

Senator Mike Braun called attacks on the independence of the Court by Democrats and the corporate media “shameful.”

Congressman Jim Banks said he was praying that the “disastrous Roe decision” would be overturned, and Jackie Walorski said over turning Roe v. Wade would be “an answer to prayer, but the court must speak for itself without facing intimidation or threats.”
