Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita says he is leading an “18-state coalition” to fight President Biden and his administration on his latest efforts to “derail a Texas law that prohibits abortion when doctors can detect a fetal heartbeat.”

Rokita’s brief argues that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland cannot sue a state anytime he deems a state law to be unconstitutional – especially when no state official plays a role in enforcing the law.
