The first of several flights carrying infant formula for the U.S. arrived Sunday in Indianapolis, as part of the Biden administration effort to tackle the massive shortage.

“Operation Fly Formula” is aimed at relieving the crisis, which is especially impacting hypoallergenic varieties of infant formula. 78,000 pounds was transported by military planes from Germany, 132 pallets of Nestlé Health Science Alfamino Infant and Alfamino Junior formula.

After another delivery this week, it will be enough for roughly 1.5 million 8-ounce bottles. Parents should start seeing more formula on store shelves as early as this week.
