One person was killed in a shooting outside of Prosper Apartments in South Bend.

Police were called to the area of 33rd Street and Marshall Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Monday, June 6, where they found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.

So far, there’s no word of any suspects, arrests or details about what led to the shooting.
