Todd Young, Drive Safe Act

Senator Todd Young wants to make sure a law he helped pass is kept up by the new leader of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Last year, Young introduced the Drive Safe Act, which is a pilot program to train young people to become truck drivers to address the driver shortage, which was eventually passed and signed into law by President Biden.

The president has nominated the interim head of the FMSCA to be promoted permanently to the top spot of the agency.

Robin Hutcheson reassured Young that the pilot program would be “expeditiously” rolled out under her watch.

Suck it Todd. You are a republican. The Biden fools do the exact opposite what ANY republican did or focused on.

Since you are in the minority in Congress you have very little say or sway over administration goons. Every day is opposite day for them.
