The Berrien County Health Department has a new health officer

The Berrien County Health Department has a new health officer.

The the same person that’s been doing the job on an interim basis since late last year.

Guy Miller is in the role, permanently, now.

County Commissioners say Miller has proven to be an intelligent, compassionate leader and is well-equipped to serve the community in this role moving forward.

Besides leading the county through issues like the pandemic and other issues, he’s managing more than 80 staffers working to keep people safe.
