Elkhart motorcyclist taken to hospital after being hit by car

An Elkhart man operating a motorcycle was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car at a four-way intersection with a two-way stop.
The collision happened around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at the intersection of County Road 26 and County Road 1.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s investigators say a 32-year-old Elkhart man behind the wheel of a Chevy Cruze failed to yield at the intersection to the motorcyclist which didn’t have to stop.
The driver of the Chevy was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
The motorcyclist suffered injuries to his arms and legs. He also received an citation for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
