A mother was arrested after her son was found wandering around a motel parking lot.

It happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, when officers were called to a motel on Plaza Court.

Police were told that the 6-year-old child was wandering, looking for his mother.

When they arrived, they found the child’s room, where there were three other children, but no adult.

Officials say the mother, Mandy Osborn, was in a parking lot near the mall.

She has been charged with neglect of a dependent.
