A man from Niles who vanished after a trip to a restroom in Berrien County was found dead.

It was around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, when authorities say Michael Grant, 68, left to use the restroom at Pier 33 near slip 41.

Police and relatives has searched the surrounding area and his home.

Grant’s body was found in the Morrison Channel near slip 21 on Monday.
