A young girl is credited with helping save a local family from a burning home.
The girl, who’s said to be eight or nine-years-old was the first to wake up and alert the others. This happened around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, in the 8000 block of North Old Indiana 15 in Leesburg.
The Times Union reports the girl is believed to have been just spending the night at the home.
There were no injuries reported.
