Two men arrested in South Bend, after police chase

Two men were arrested in South Bend, after leading South Bend Police on a chase in a stolen vehicle.

It happened on Tuesday, when officers received reports of a stolen vehicle.

They say they found the car in the area of Lincolnway and Adams Street.

Two men were inside the vehicle, Andre Bridges and Elijah Brown.

ABC 57 News reports that when officers attempted to approach the two, they drove away, leading police on a chase.

Later, Brown and Bridges left the vehicle and allegedly ran.

They were later arrested.

Bridges faces charges of auto theft and resisting law enforcement.

Brown faces charges of unlawful carrying of a handgun and resisting law enforcement.

In St. Joseph County criminals get busted and a short time later they’re let go to do more crime. Thanks to the lacks prosecutor’s office and judges. Felony criminals stealing cars and having firearms shouldn’t be back on the streets.
