A Cass County man is facing more than a dozen charges after allegedly shooting at cars.

47-year-old Randy Kirk of Vandalia appeared in court on charges of assault with intent to murder and assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

Police say Kirk took aim on and objects, Tuesday morning, at the intersection of Calvin Center Road and Brownsville Street.

Kirk appeared in court on Thursday, was read his 14 charges, which include assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, and assault with a dangerous weapon.

There were no injuries.

Kirk was arrested at the Dollar General in Vandalia after a confrontation with officer.

He was denied bail and will appear in court, again, on Thursday.
