A double homicide investigation is underway in South Bend.

Officers were called, around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, to a home in the 800 block of Johnson Street where they located two bodies.

The victims have been identified as 18-year-old Rainie Best, 18, and Phil Honer III, 24.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating their deaths.
