Man arrested after drugs found during traffic stop in Fulton County

Marijuana and other illegal drugs were found at a traffic stop in Fulton County.

It happened on Saturday, August 20, when deputies pulled over a car on U.S. 31 near Old US Highway 31.

Officials say they used a K9 unit to sniff around the vehicle, alerting them of illegal narcotics.

During the search, they found 45 pounds of marijuana, 27 grams of meth, THC cartridges, and a loaded handgun.

46-year-old John Madden was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, dealing in marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
