The shootings took place one black apart from each other. The first shooting took the life of Farries Maxwell. The second took the life of Raquon Glenn.

Police are also now investigating reports of shots fired in the same area on Tuesday. Reports say that when officers arrived, they found over 30 shell casings on the road on Ferry St. between 5th and 6th Streets.

Officers did not find any damage in the area, and no injuries have been reported. However, those with information on any of the shootings are encouraged to contact Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.

Sounds like they are possibly testing police response time.
And more then likely a vehicle or two was involved unless they where shooting in the air. That is of course just what comes to mind
