Two teenagers were shot and killed in Niles.

It happened just after 11:30, last night, on 6th Avenue when investigators say a group of people approached a home, fired shots, then drove off.

A 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were killed. Three others were taken to the hospital.

ABC-57 News reports that police believe the shooting is connected to a shooting that happened last month, on the same block, that took the life of 26-year-old Raquon Glenn of Niles.

Anybody with information is asked to contact the Niles Detective Bureau at 269-683-0404 or text TIPNILESPD to CRIME (274637.) You can also submit a tip online at tipsoft.com or contact Michiana Crime Stoppers with an anonymous tip at 574-288-STOP.
