The son of Kosciusko County Sheriff Candidate, Jim Smith, is sentenced to one year probation.

19-year-old Zacchary Smith was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and battery, after reports of Smith having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl in 2021.

Smith pleaded guilty to the charges and also has to pay $800 in restitution.
