Whirlpool Centennial Park could be seeing some improvements.

The City of St. Joseph approved a $690-thousand agreement for upgrades to the park.

They say that improvements have been in the works as they approved the grant project with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

WSJM reports that the improvements include a restroom building, a new access path, foot wash stations, shade structures, signage, and a new trail.

It’s set to be finished by 2025.

$100,000 from an anonymous donation to the Parks Foundation will be used as well.
