A man missing from Tippacanoe died Sunday after a two-car crash in northeast Cass County, said the Sheriff’s Office Monday.

Daniel Pranger, 36, of Tippecanoe was reported missing Sunday morning to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to State Road 25 and County Road 650 just before 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found Pranger and Daniel Hood, 53, of Goshen.

Investigators say Pranger was driving southbound on SR 25 when he ran into Hood’s car driving the opposite direction.

Pranger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car. He was flown to the hospital in a helicopter, and later died.

The crash is still under investigation.
