Just over an hour after the polls closed on Election Night, many media outlets are already calling the race for US Senate in Indiana for the Republican incumbent Todd Young.

By 7:15 pm Tuesday, Young has around 60-percent of the vote locked in with just 5-percent of precincts reporting. Only an hour later, Young declared victory with his Democratic opponent Tom McDermott conceding.

This will be Young’s second term in the Senate after being first elected back in 2018.
