Notre Dame QB Drew Pyne reportedly looking to transfer to another school

(Tommie Lee/MNC)

There were reports Friday from ESPN that Notre Dame QB Drew Pyne intends to enter the NCAA’s transfer portal.

Pyne is a third-year player who will have three years of eligibility at his next school. This year Pyne is 4-1 against Top 25 teams, with an 8-2 record overall in his 10 starts. He took over as the starter in September after the team started 0-2.

So far there are no hints about where he might be headed.

He is also reportedly not going to play in any Notre Dame bowl game this winter.
