Two injured after crash involving SUV and buggy

Two women were injured after a crash involving an SUV and a buggy in Elkhart County.

Officials say that the SUV was heading south on County Road 43, towards County Road 14, when it crossed the center line and hit the buggy head on.

The buggy then overturned in a ditch. Two women were in the buggy and both were flown to the hospital with fractures.

The driver was issued a citation for driving left of center and causing bodily injury.
