(95.3 MNC)
A trial date is set for a Benton Harbor pastor and civil rights leader who’s charged with criminal sexual conduct.
Pastor Carlton Lynch runs the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and is accused of groping a woman from behind. The Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office says Lynch is also now facing a charge of attempting to bribe a witness, along with the original misdemeanor criminal sexual conduct charge.
Lynch denied the incident happened to ABC 57 News, stating the prosecutor’s office offered two plea deals that have been declined, because he’s innocent.
A trial date is set for May 16.
