An Edwardsburg man accused of masterminding a check kiting scheme to the tune of $150 million has entered a guilty plea.
Najeeb Khan, 69, entered the guilty plea for bank fraud and attempted tax evasion in federal court in Cleveland.
Khan is the former owner of Interlogic Outsourcing Inc., an Elkhart-based payroll processing firm, which provided services for 6,000 companies across the U.S.
Kahn has agreed to pay back the money he owes.
His array of cars, planes and homes are being liquidated.
A sentencing date has not yet been set, according to Cleveland.com.

The sad thing is: The weak law. This criminal/thief/crook etc. will eventually get away with a minor sentence, which does not good to all the headaches and problems, not to mention financial losses, he caused to clients. Agreeing to pay back is not paying back. There is not enough money to do so. He should be locked up for life.
