A Vicksburg Michigan man has been sentenced on child pornography-related charges.

Virgil Chandler Knowles III, 47, was ordered to serve 25 years in prison after he pled guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of child pornography.

According to prosecutors, police and F-B-I agents closed in on Knowles after an undercover officer ID’d him in a secret pedophile chat group.

Knowles’ girlfriend, Samantha Batts was also charged in connection with the case.

She was sentenced to 200 months in prison after she pled guilty to sexual exploitation of a child.
