A man was recently charged with child molesting after allegedly engaging in sexual behavior with a minor.

It was in April of 2022 when the victim said that she was sexually assaulted by 20-year-old Steven Scott Bradford.

Bradford was taken in for questioning but denied any sexual contact with the victim and said his DNA would not be found on her.

According to ABC 57, the victim was interviewed and told law enforcement that she was visiting a friend at an apartment while Bradford was also at the apartment.

At one point, the victim’s friend reportedly left the apartment, leaving the victim and Bradford alone. The victim said it was during this time when Bradford had sex with her.

A sexual assault evidence collection kit was completed on the victim, and results found Bradford’s DNA was present.

Bradford was interviewed, again, earlier this month, during which he admitted to having sex with the victim, as well as allegedly admitted to knowing the victim was a minor at the time.
