A herd of horses that had gotten loose in Mishawaka has now been rounded up. Calls started coming in around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, for eight horses wandering between Day Road and McKinley Highway.

The horses got out after a fence broke, according to their owner.

Fortunately, they stayed on the sidewalk the entire time, and Animal Rescue helped to bring them all back home.

All of the animals are accounted for, and none of them were hurt.
