They’re also asking for those applicants to attend their one-day hiring event on March 18 where applicants will take a written and physical agility test, participate in a panel interview and meet with a background investigator.

Too subtle? My comment was a facetious dig at Mishawaka Mayor Wood’s current scandal.
Parry’s a Republican and got into some trouble drunk driving and tried to bury it. Wood (also a Republican) punished the cop who came forward with the truth as he exerted pressure on the MPD to bury his son’s DUI. The similarities were worth making fun of.
In hindsight, I probably needed a couple more lines in there for setup.
