Cassopolis woman pleads guilty to meth possession, is sentenced to probation

A Cassopolis woman who pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine has been sentenced to probation.

It was last fall when police stopped a vehicle she was riding in and found meth in her purse.

Leader Publications reports the Cass County Prosecutor as saying Wilhite had been using drugs for three decades ad that she got a pandemic deal with no additional jail time.

He also said she needed to get help or she’d end up spending more time behind bars.
