The last of the winners from Tuesday’s primary election are coming in, but one is going to take a bit longer to figure out.

The 4th Ward seat in the Walkerton Town Council, being sought by two Republicans, ended with 55 votes for Kyle Norris…and 55 votes for Bryan Vandall.

A tie is rare, but the Indiana elections commission has a procedure in place to resolve it.

A GOP caucus will take place in Walkerton to see which candidate will manage to edge out the other. There’s no word yet when that might caucus might take place, but the rules state it will have to happen within 30 days after the precinct committee members are notified.
