Target recalls millions of candles after reported injuries

(CPSC)

Target is recalling nearly 5 million candles that are potentially dangerous.

Six severe burns and lacerations have been reported, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The 4.9 million recalled Threshold candles were sold exclusively in Target stores and on their website from August of 2019 through March of 2023 for between 3 and 20 dollars. Target’s recall page recommends that customers should immediately stop using the recalled candles, and return the candles to any Target store for a refund.
