The US Supreme Court will not hear the appeal of an Indiana man guilty of failing to make child support payments in Hamilton County.
The high court said they will not take up the case filed by Kenneth Chambers.
He was arrested in 2017, 2020, and again in 2021 for not paying child support. He claimed his civil rights were violated and sued the state accusing law enforcement of making a false arrest, using excessive force, and racial animus.
A federal judge in Indianapolis rejected this lawsuit last year.
