One person was injured in a shooting in South Bend.

The gunfire happened shortly before 2 a.m. on Monday, June 5, in the 1200 block of East Madison Street. That’s where South Bend Police found the victim, who was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The man’s condition was not immediately released.

So far, no word about a suspect, arrest, or what led to the shooting.
