Small areas of the city limits of Elkhart are turning into South Bend now. Punish criminals for bad behavior. Nobody should have gunfire going on and hitting innocent people’s property.
Welcome to the new normal sir. Until society addresses the inequality between the haves and have-nots this will persist. This is just the first wave of guys that grew up with no opportunities and no hope. They truly feel like they have nothing to lose. It’s tragic
Blaming “inequality” for the violence is disingenuous at best. There are impoverished rural areas of the country that do not have this problem.
A family can have limited financial resources but, they can raise their children in a home with a positive moral compass. Bad parenting skills are most of the problem, not money.
