Police say it was “miraculous” that no one was injured when a Penske truck went over the guardrail on the Toll Road.
It happened around 12:45 pm on Friday, June 9, near the Elkhart Exit of the Toll Road, near a worksite that had traffic slowed in the area.
Indiana State Police reported that the driver of the Penske truck didn’t see the slowed traffic in time and attempted to go onto the shoulder to avoid hitting anyone.
The truck ended up hitting the guardrail and a motorhome, and then went over the guardrail.
Police arrived to find that truck balancing on the guardrail.
Fire crews were able to get the occupants of the truck out without any injuries.

How nice. Driving a vehicle big enough to almost guarantee it will kill anyone it crashes into, and not paying attention.
