Three people hurt after crash involving fire truck on U.S. 20

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a fire truck. It happened around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, June 9, on U.S. 20, west of County Road 9, in Elkhart County.

Sheriff’s investigators say a vehicle rear-ended a fire truck that had its emergency lights on.

The 28-year-old driver, his 25-year old passenger and the man driving the fire truck were all taken to the hospital for treatment.
