A bridge closure may impact your commute to work…

The Angela Boulevard Bridge will be closed starting on Monday, June 19 and, if everything goes to plan, will last until Aug. 18.

It’s so that Milestone Contractors North can perform a bridge rehabilitation project.

The project will include a deck overly, expansion joint replacement, reinforced concrete bridge approach replacement, sidewalk, curb and bike ramps, bituminous paving, bridge railing and sidewalk cleaning and surface seal, tree clearing and bridge railing repair.

Traffic will have a detour route, directing westbound traffic between 933 and Portage avenue to southbound on 933 to Lincolnway West, the west to Portage Avenue, and north to return to Angela Blvd. The opposite will happen for eastbound traffic.

A section of Riverside Drive will also be closed from the Round-a-Bout south to Hudson Avenue.
