The Vicksburg Rocket Football board found financial activity that they describe as strange.

They discovered the issues this spring, during an internal budget audit, including similar transactions dating back to 2019.

The Vicksburg Rocket Football Board President, Mark Hudgins, says that suspicion grew around a former treasurer for the organization.

The board’s financial audit was turned over to investigators. Formal charges have been filed.

The suspect has not been identified.

The investigations are not expected to impact the upcoming rocket football season.
