A DeMotte man may spend more than 17 years in prison for possessing and looking at child pornography.
42-year-old Thomas Spangle pled guilty to receipt of child pornography, according to the Department of Justice.
Police say he was on supervised release in 2019, having previously been convicted for distributing child porn.  Then, in 2021, they learned that he was looking at explicit content. After searching his devices, they found multiple files containing child pornography.
After prison, he will face 15 years of supervised release.
