Memorial MedFlight has relocated its base of operation.

Now, it’s at the Elkhart Municipal Airport.

The Goshen News reports that the new location will help Memorial MedFlight to better serve the Beacon Health hospitals in Indiana and Michigan.

Memorial MedFlight responds to the scene of an emergency situation and also transfers critically ill or injured patients between hospitals.

They responded to more than 940 calls last year.
