Indiana Conservation officers plan to participate in ‘Operation Dry Water’

Indiana Conservation officers are set to participate in ‘Operation Dry Water.’
In an effort to educate teach boaters about the dangers of boating while under the influence, officers will take part in the national campaign Saturday through Monday.
Alcohol use continues to be the leading known contributing factor in recreation boater deaths and a leading contributor in boating collisions.
The effort will include outreach and education. Last year officers removed nearly 800 impaired boaters from the nation’s waters.
