You might have noticed more bugs flying around, and at a much earlier time of the year than normal, says Purdue University entomologist Catherine Hill.
She says the increase of mosquitos and ticks are due to mild weather and stagnant water, both of which have been more common over the last few weeks, due to storms.
She tells WISH-TV you can help get rid of the bugs by clearing out any standing water, which is where the bugs usually breed.
