Elkhart Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 600 block of Gladstone Avenue.

Officers got a call around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, and arrived on the scene where they found a 21-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, no arrests have been made, and the shooting remains an active and on-going investigation.
