LaPorte County man who pleaded guilty to killing his son, 4, denied sentencing appeal

A LaPorte County man convicted of killing his 4-year-old son and hoping to have his 70-year prison sentence overturned has lost his appeal.

It was back in late 2021 when Alan Morgan learned his after after pleading guilty to abusing and killing his son, Judah, because of a potty-training incident.

Morgan made his appeal based on what he called abuse by the trial court, however, his appeal was denied.
